I have decided to travel to Dakota, a part of Singapore I have never been to as I have always lived in the west. It is the nearest MRT station from a studio exhibition I wanted to visit in Tanjong Katong.
My friends and I visited Phunk Studio where Nychos' exhibition was held. Nychos is an urban art and graffiti illustrator we found out about through Instagram. He is known for his works of animals and creatures portrayed with dissected body parts. It was the first time I visited a solo gallery exhibition. It was especially interesting to see a street artist's creations on display in the gallery.

I also visited the newly opened outlet of Yellow Submarines at Bugis Junction. They serve Torpedo Fries with a very generous amount of cheese, it made me really happy!
At Dhoby Ghaut's Fish & Co, I wanted a change and tried their Chilli Crab Spaghetti instead of the usual Fish and Chips dishes. It was bad, I will just stick to the dishes they are known for and not be so adventurous the next time. Aside from the food, I think what makes this outlet stands out from the rest is that they have a live band performing!
